The Edge VT starts from a genuinely new planform rather than a refinement of the last V12 kite. Now with a refined arc that sharpens turning and makes the kite feel noticeably more responsive the moment you steer it. A slimmer leading edge cuts drag and adds a touch of flex back into the profile, which is what gives the VT its quicker, more manoeuvrable character, especially through downloops, heliloops and kiteloops. Adjusted canopy tension, particularly through the trailing edge, keeps the canopy tighter across the whole wind range, so power delivery stays smooth and consistent rather than surging.

The new 16-point bridle system, drawn straight from the Ozone Vortex, spreads load across the leading edge far more evenly than the Edge has managed before. That even distribution is what lets Ozone slim the leading edge down without losing stiffness, so you get a kite that's more rigid and more responsive at the same time rather than trading one for the other. Combined with the fixed no pulley 4-line bridle system, bar feedback stays direct and precise, so you always know exactly where the kite is, even mid-rotation.

Where the Edge has always earned its reputation is in the air, and the VT pushes that further. Sheet in and it drives upwind with real conviction, and the lift comes on hard and holds, giving the kind of hangtime the Edge name is built on. Bar pressure is slightly lighter than previous versions without losing connection, so kite loops feel more intuitive and accessible, and the kite stays forgiving even when you're pushing into new territory. It's the same big air DNA, just sharper, faster and more dialled in than ever.
