Trench boards are hydrofoil boards built with a recessed channel in the hull to house a motorised assist unit like a Foil Drive. Slotting the unit into the board reduces drag, lowers your centre of gravity and gets rid of the bulk of an aftermarket mount, for a cleaner, more natural ride.
