Slingshot Code V3 Kite

The Slingshot Code V3 is the kite for riders ready to start sending. The new Code V3 keeps the Code's easy, confidence-building character and sharpens it, with cleaner feedback through the bar, smoother lift on take-off and quicker turning when you want to loop. Power stays steady through the gusts, so you can commit to bigger jumps knowing the kite won't surge or spike on you. Cruise, boost and take your first kiteloops, all on one kite.

  • Freeride and big air progression
  • Intermediate+ riders
  • Smooth, consistent power in gusts
  • Dacron frame, DP175 leading edge
  • 7-point fixed bridle
  • Quick, precise turning

Performance & Feel

The Code V3 was developed alongside the Code NXT V2 and replaces the Code V2. There are some changes which are all about the way that the kite feels in flight. A refined canopy profile and updated arc hold power more consistently, so gusts are handled smoothly.  A reworked trailing edge and small fibreglass battens help the canopy hold its shape under load, which is where its quicker, more composed turning comes from.

You'll notice the biggest change at the bar. The new 7-point fixed bridle gives predictable, consistent feedback, so you keep a sense of where the kite is without having to look where it is. Steering is intuitive, power strokes feel clean and when you load up to jump, the lift builds smoothly and gives you time to stay in control.

Freeride is still at the heart of the Code and it's versatile enough for surf and foil sessions too. Where the Code V3 earns its place is it is now a great step into big air. It's forgiving enough to build your confidence, with the turning speed and control to start looping.
