Duotone Aero Free SLS Wing Set

The Duotone Aero Free SLS Wing Set pairs the Aero Free SLS Front Wing with Duotone's Stabiliser C, matched by size for the best setup out of the box. It's Duotone's genuine do-it-all wing, at home whether you're freeriding, freestyling, chasing a downwind bump or riding it prone, with nothing about it that locks you into one discipline.

  • Freeride, freestyle, freerace, surf, downwind, prone and windsurf foiling all-rounder
  • SLS carbon construction, playful low-drag outline
  • Stabiliser C: C216, C250 or C300, size-matched to the front wing
  • Easy, confident handling with a genuine mix of glide, pump and manoeuvrability
  • Beginner to advanced, size dependent

Performance & Feel

It's genuinely hard to catch this wing out of its comfort zone. That versatility comes from where it sits in Duotone's range, positioned between the Glide and Carve 2.0 wings for glide and manoeuvrability, with a playful outline and low-drag profile that stays exciting and fast without giving up ease and control. The Stabilizer C adds to that control: a traditional medium-aspect design, flat through the centre with a subtle winglet towards the tip, built to keep pitch in check and hold your trajectory while staying loose enough for smooth turns and genuine feedback in the waves.

Size changes the character of each wing more than usual with the Aero Free, so it's worth knowing what each one's built for:

  • 800: light riders or stronger wind days, packs surprising lift and gets going early for its size, also a strong prone foiling wing
  • 1000: a proven all-rounder for riders roughly 50-95kg, early takeoff with exciting speed, good pump and glide, and a strong choice in smaller surf
  • 1250: a popular mid-size, suited to mid-sized to heavier advanced riders across wing, windsurf and prone foiling
  • 1500: user-friendly with early takeoff, stable flight and good pumping, lighter riders can learn on it, heavier riders get a dependable one-wing-quiver option
  • 1750: a light wind wing for intermediates around 70-90kg, effortless glide for practising tacks and gybes, still holds decent speed and carves well with the C250
  • 2000: built for bigger riders (80kg and up) or complete beginners, gets you flying in light wind with minimum effort, also great for learning to pump off the dock

Key Features

  • Playful, Low-Drag Outline: keeps the wing feeling exciting and fast without losing ease of control
  • Positioned Between Glide and Carve 2.0: blends glide, pumping and manoeuvrability rather than leaning hard into one trait
  • Stabiliser C: traditional medium-aspect profile built for control, keeping pitch in check while staying loose enough for smooth turns
  • Shim Compatible: fine-tune angle of attack in ±0.3° increments to suit your riding style or the day's conditions (shims available separately)
  • Wide Size Range: six sizes from 800 to 2000, spanning genuinely different rider levels and conditions
