ION Seek Core 3/2 Front Zip Wetsuit

The ION Seek Core 3/2 Front Zip is a warm-water summer suit that carries more quality than its place in the range suggests. 3mm of limestone neoprene over the core holds warmth, 2mm through the arms and legs gives great flexibility.  The front zip seals across the chest. Paddle, kite, wing or windsurf, it does the lot through the warmer months. It sits at the mid to upper end of ION's wetsuit line, so if you want warm linings and sealed seams without paying flagship money, the Seek Core is the one to look at.

Performance & Feel

The Seek Core sits in the mid-to-upper part of ION's wetsuit line and is a clear step up from the Element without climbing into flagship money. This is the 3/2, the warm-water suit in the range for the warmer half of the year. 

The neoprene itself is limestone-based, which stretches well and holds its shape over time, laminated with ION's Aqua Alpha water-based glue. Seams are glued and blind-stitched, with Maki_Tape 2.0 reinforcement at the higher-stress areas to keep water out. Across the shoulders, a new Sweep_Cut construction uses fewer panels and so fewer seams, leaving giving even more flexibility. The front zip seals across the chest and has a cordlock and a replaceable draw cord, so you can swap the cord rather than the whole suit if the cord wears out

It's an honest, well-rounded summer suit. Warm enough for UK summer sessions, stretchy enough to feel like a second skin and built to last.
