Performance & Feel

The Flow shares some of its design features with Ozone's high-performance Flux, but with reduced span and a lower aspect ratio that trades outright speed for more low-end power and easier handling. Teijin dacron on the leading edge and struts resists flex and abrasion, while the canopy uses Teijin's 55g triple ripstop material, built to take the kind of everyday beach handling that comes with putting a wing through its paces regularly. Ozone's OzCAD design software controls every stitch and seam, with a spanwise seam orientation that spreads load through the sail and keeps deformation to a minimum, so the Flow holds its shape and tension session after session.

On the water, the extended front carbon handle gives you the reach and control like a boom, letting you fly one-handed and find a relaxed, balanced riding position.  That same handle comes into its own in the surf, where you can hold a balance point one-handed. A semi-rigid depower/surf handle adds further control when flagged out, resisting the wing inverting as you carve through swell. The stiff airframe and rigid handles carry that same direct, responsive feel into freestyle riding too, with enough boost and control to take you from your first airs through to rotations and tricks. Six sizes, 2.4m through to 5.7m, cover riders progressing from their first sessions through to advanced freeride, wave riding and freestyle.
