The ION Amaze Amp Womens wetsuit is the top of ION's women's Amaze line and this 5/4 back zip suit is designed for cold-water winter sessions where you want real warmth. A recycled Max_Flex outer lining through the shoulders, arms and neck gives around 30% more flex right where you need it, while Hot_Stuff 2.0 lines the whole torso and legs and Graphene_Plush 2.0 across the back adds up to 20% more warmth than ION's Plasma_Plush. Fully taped seams keep the water out and the warmth in, and at 5/4 it's the warmest back zip in the line, with easy entry and built-in shin guards.

Performance & Feel

The Amaze Amp sits at the top of ION's women's Amaze range, the most technical and stretchiest of the line, and the 5/4 back zip is the warmest back zip version, the suit for winter and cold water. The Amp gives flex and warmth, with the extra millimetres adding insulation for the coldest sessions. The recycled Max_Flex outer lining across the shoulders, arms and neck adds around 30% more stretch where it matters most, and sheds water rather than soaking it up, so even a 5/4 dries fast between sessions. Hot_Stuff 2.0 lines the entire torso and legs for warmth, Graphene_Plush 2.0 across the back adds up to 20% more warmth than ION's Plasma_Plush while staying quick to dry, and Silk_Stuff keeps the shoulders and arms smooth next to the skin.

The back zip makes a 5/4 easy to get into and has a "Water_Gate" panel behind the zip acts as a flushguard to keep cold water from getting through the zip and down your back. The seams are glued and blind-stitched then fully taped across the inside to seal out flush and hold heat, the sleeve and leg ends are fused for a durable finish, and drain holes clear water on the way out. Built-in shin guards protect your lower legs against knocks.
