Duotone Float 2025 Wing

The Duotone Float 2025 is made for wave and downwind riding, tuned to keep drifting with you through flat spots. It's aimed at light wind and marginal days, when getting up early on the foil and holding onto that power matters more than outright top end speed.

  • Wave and downwind wing foiling
  • Weight-optimised construction
  • Low sweep angle for easy front handle to boom transitions
  • Size-specific canopy tuning for drift and stability
  • Stiffer, wider leading-edge handle for direct steering
  • Runs on the Duotone Fusion Carbon boom, (sold separately)
  • For intermediate to advanced riders

Performance & Feel

Out on the water the Float is calm through the lulls, tracking with waves and it's happy to sit depowered without dropping out of your hands. In light winds, it gets you up onto the foil early and keeps delivering power.

That comes from the low sweep angle that brings the centre point forward, so reaching between the front handle and boom stays easy even on the bigger sizes. Canopy tension is tuned on each size too, with the smaller wings running reduced canopy tension for easier drift and lift in marginal conditions, and the larger sizes set up for extra stability. A stiffer, wider leading-edge handle gives more direct steering input when you're holding the wing flagged out in waves and increased leading edge and strut diameter adds stiffness for cleaner power delivery.

Sized against the same sized Duotone Unit, the Float delivers more power, so if you're regularly wing foiling in light or marginal wind it's the wing built specifically for that job, while the Unit stays the broader all-rounder across a wider wind range.
