Ozone Element V1 Kiteboard

The Ozone Element is built to be the board you learn on and stay on, taking you from your first water starts through to your first jumps and transitions without needing a replacement along the way. It's designed specifically as a first kitesurfing board, with a moderate-to-low rocker line and a forgiving flex that takes the edge off the early, frustration when learning so you can spend more time riding and less time walking back upwind.

  • Entry-level to intermediate freeride
  • Designed for beginner to intermediate riders and as a lightwind board
  • Forgiving, stable and predictable underfoot
  • A-grade Paulownia wood core
  • Double concave base for grip in chop
  • 4x 45mm Ozone fins and grab handle included

Performance & Feel

The Elements whole design brief was about around smoothing what can be the frustrating process of learning. The moderate-to-low rocker line gets you planing early and tracking upwind with less effort, which matters most when you're still building the technique to hold an edge confidently. A double concave base shape adds stability and grip underfoot, so messy or rough water feels smooth and predictable rather than something to fight against.

The construction does a lot of the comfort work. An A-grade Paulownia wood core gives a medium-soft flex that absorbs chop and vibration through your knees so longer sessions stay comfortable rather than tiring. A refined tip shape and outline cut down on water spray which sounds minor until you're trying to focus on kite control and keep getting a faceful of water every few seconds.

What makes the Element worth sticking with past the first few sessions is that it's built to grow with you. The same balanced, predictable feel that makes early water starts easier also supports linking turns, learning transitions and sending a first jump, so it's not a board you'll outgrow the moment you start to find your feet.

Eight sizes cover the range for all sizes and weights of rider. The range includes two dedicated lightwind models in the 155cm and 163cm. The board comes deck only, with fins, grab handle, pads/straps sold separately.
