The Amaze Core sits in the middle of ION's women's range, above the Element and below the Amp, and the 5/4 back zip is the warmest version, the one for winter and cold water. Hot_Stuff 2.0 warms the torso and thighs without stiffening the suit, Plasma_Plush across the back blocks the wind chill, and Silk_Stuff keeps the chest, shoulders and arms smooth and stretchy next to the skin. Light limestone neoprene keeps it supple.

The back zip makes it easy to climb into, which counts most with the thickest suit in the range, and an internal neoprene panel seals off the zip to cut the cold water getting through the zip and rushing in down your back. Seams are glued and blind-stitched, flexibly taped at the knee and crotch with the stress points reinforced. Built-in shin pads protect your shins, and detachable leg loops cinch the ankles to stop water getting into the suit.
