Performance & Feel

The Amaze Amp sits at the top of ION's women's Amaze range, the most technical and stretchiest of the line, and the 5/4 is the warmest version of it. The Amp gives flex and warmth, with the extra thickness adding the insulation for winter and cold-water sessions. The Max_Flex outer lining across the shoulders, arms and neck adds around 30% more stretch where it matters most, and sheds water rather than soaking it up, so even a thick suit dries fast between sessions. Hot_Stuff 2.0 lines the entire torso and legs for warmth, Plasma_Plush 2.0 across the back blocks the wind chill, and Silk_Stuff keeps the shoulders and arms smooth next to the skin.

The back zip makes a 5/4 easy to climb into, which is great when wearing a thick winter suit and a Water_Gate panel behind the zip acts as a flushguard to keep cold water from getting through the zip and running in down your back. Seams are glued and blind-stitched with the stress points Melco-taped inside, the sleeve and leg ends are fused for a durable finish, and drain holes clear water on the way out. Built-in shin guards protect your shins.
