Performance & Feel

Airush built the Air V2 around forward drive and stability, aiming for a touch more pull and speed without losing the all-round feel. The big-diameter connection between the centre strut and the leading edge helps keep the wing from bending sideways under load, so it pumps onto foil easily, builds speed steadily, and stays controllable as you push on.

The short centre strut and more squared leading edge move the centre of power forward, which gives a balanced power, and the shorter strut also keeps the tip further from the water, so manoeuvres come a little more easily. The refined inward-pointing wingtips back this up, lifting clear of the surface on starts and staying out of the way through your turns, refined across every size.

Soft handles with multiple options for all experience levels. The back handles sit where you'll ride most of the time, with forward handles for entry-level riding and transitions. The optimised windows sit further forward and low down, so you can see where you're going and keep an eye on the action without repositioning the wing, and keeping them small helps hold the weight down.

It's built around all-round performance rather than one specialism, which makes it a dependable everyday wing for a progressing rider. There's a bit more here than an entry-level shape, in a wing that stays easy to manage while you use it.
