As the top mast in AK's range, the Carbon Plus TaperLock is built for the highest performance available, without narrowing who it suits. The slim 14mm chord cuts drag through the water, while the hollow, high pressure moulded construction keeps the mast stiff and resistant to twist under load. The TaperLock connection into the fuselage is rigid by design, creating a locked-in feeling and efficient transfer of energy from rider input straight through to the foil, making higher span, higher aspect foils a true joy to ride.
