The AK Semi-Coil FoilBoard Leg Leash was designed to solve a foiling problem. A standard fully-coiled leash can interfere with the foil mast and wrap around your feet when you're riding. AK's answer is this hybrid. A short straight section at the ankle end, a coiled section at the other end. The straight segment keeps the coils clear of your toes when you're up and flying and the coil sits short and out of the water rather than dragging behind you.
