Axis Froth Foilboard

The Axis Froth Foilboard is a short, playful platform built around where foiling has moved: higher aspect, lower drag wings that need more speed to get up and flying. The shape has been reworked around that shift, with every change aimed at getting you onto the foil faster.

  • Wingfoiling, prone foiling and tow foiling
  • Extended planing surface, tail chisel removed
  • Pulled-in, rounded nose
  • Concave deck
  • Compact, low swing weight platform
  • Carbon
  • All levels - size dependent

Performance & Feel

Axis cut the angled chisel off the tail, extending the planing surface for extra sub-foiling speed, and pulled back the rail bevel until it fades out completely before the tail. That widens the planing surface and straightens the water flow underneath, so the Froth accelerates onto the foil faster than the previous model.

Up front, the nose is pulled in and rounded rather than square, so it sheds chop instead of catching it in rougher water, with extra thickness and volume added to keep buoyancy balanced for stability kneeling or stepping up to start. The new deck concave gives your feet and toes real leverage when you initiate a turn, while still feeling planted and secure riding strapless in a straight line. A reworked tail pad design clears any water that collects in the concave straight out the back, rather than letting it pool underfoot.

The Froth is now only available in one size, the 55L: a lower volume shape within the Froth range, which will work great for a lighter rider or someone more advanced looking for an all-round performer.
