Performance & Feel

The low rocker and pin tail get the Downwinder SLS moving fast, to build enough speed for take-off, which counts for a lot on smaller bumps. A single concave through keeps touchdowns clean so momentum carries through instead of getting lost every time you come down.

Pronounced rail bevels through the back of the board give a confident, predictable release the moment you're up, and the recessed deck sits your feet closer to the foil for a more direct feel to your foil.

Carbon Custom Sandwich construction keeps the board light without giving up the stiffness you need for that direct foil connection, and the long carbon foil tracks give plenty of room to fine-tune foil positioning. 

Three sizes cover the range. The 7' 0" is the compact option, the 7'6" sits in the middle as the versatile choice, and the 8'0" is the most stable, suited to bigger riders or anyone still finding their feet in bumps or light wind. There's enough stability here to make sense as a board to build downwind or light wind mileage on, with enough glide on tap to keep more experienced riders interested too.
