The Duotone Battery Set is the pair of batteries that powers the Foil Assist system. You need both connected to run it, so this is the full set rather than a single spare, whether you're replacing a worn pair or picking up a second set to double your time on the water. Runtime lands somewhere between 30 and 60 minutes depending on your weight, your setup and the conditions, so a spare set is the difference between one session and a full day out.

Each battery is built to travel. At 159.6Wh they sit just under the 160Wh airline limit, so you can fly with your Foil Assist, though airline watt-hour rules vary so it's worth checking before you book. A power button switches them on, and four indicator lights show the charge level, from empty through the ideal storage level to fully charged.

Lithium batteries need respecting: always store them in a fire-resistant bag when they're not in use.
