The Duotone Cruise Battery Box Mounting Set moves the Foil Assist battery box off your waist and onto the board, for riders who want to cruise flatwater without wearing the harness pack. For beginners especially, that clears the leash and power cable away from your legs, so getting onto the board, kneeling and standing up all become much easier without anything to get tangled in. The box sits raised on its own mounting plate at the tail, so you can open the lid to insert to swap or remove batteries.

It's been designed and made specifically for the Midfish Air inflatable board, which carries the dedicated tail D-rings the box mounts to. Because the tail can dip underwater when you're lying prone at low speed, depending on your weight, the set routes a wire antenna forward through a thin tube under the footpad to the nose. Fitting takes a few minutes: swap the standard mast cable for the shorter one included, route the antenna, secure the box to the D-rings with the reusable zip ties, then connect the power cable and antenna.

The Mounting Set isn't part of the Foil Cruise Set and is bought separately. If you want a full harness-free setup, it pairs with the eMast Cruise Set, Watch Ring Remote, Charger and Battery Set.
