Duotone Float 2026 Wing

The Duotone Float 2026 is the second generation of Duotone's wave and downwind wing, reshaped for smoother sheeting and better drift. It's built for wave riding and downwind foiling, keeping the wing calm and neutral in your hands so you can focus on reading the swell rather than managing the wing.

  • Wave and downwind foiling
  • Reworked profile: reduced centre depth, enhanced quarter-span profile
  • Front-handed power delivery for smooth, predictable sheeting
  • Lower-angle wingtips for improved drift and float
  • Runs on the Duotone Fusion Carbon boom (sold separately)
  • For intermediate to advanced riders

Performance & Feel

Flagged out on a wave or a downwind run, the Float stays neutral and stable in your hands, which leaves you free to focus on the swell instead of managing your wing. Power delivery is smooth and progressive with none of the sudden on/off feel that can make drifting hard work.

That comes from a reworked profile. The centre depth has been reduced while the quarter-span profile has been increased, a change that balances power, control, lightness and stability. Power delivery is slightly front-handed, and the wingtips sit at a lower angle, both of which help the wing drift and float more naturally when you flag out in waves. The result is a wing that is light and controlled in your hands whether you're powering through a turn or letting it drift while you carve.
