Four centimetres shorter than the eMast AL doesn't sound like much, but you can feel the difference. The Cruise sits you lower and closer to the surface, which makes height easier to hold and it takes the edge off the pitchy feel that catches people out on a longer mast. What it doesn't do is feel soft. 

Power delivery is smooth. Ask for drive and the two-blade folding propeller opens straight away, pushes you up onto foil, then folds shut when you release so you glide or just keep on low power and ride. The motor sits low on the mast, 15cm above the fuselage, with cables routed internally, so no bolt-on hardware to interrupt the flow of water over the mast. The batteries sit on your waist/hips in a buoyant harness instead of on the board and the receiver lives in the battery box lid where water can't cut the signal between the remote and the motor.

A propeller guard is fitted to the motor and puts a physical barrier between you and the blades. Duotone are clear that it doesn't remove the need for care, and the use of the prop guard costs a little runtime through added drag, but on a set aimed at riders whio are new to  assist riding still building confidence, it's a sensible thing to have.  Runtime is quoted at 25 to 40 minutes depending on your weight, the wing setup and prevailing conditions. Every component is cross-compatible across the eMast range, so parts can be swapped between systems.
