Duotone Midfish 2026 Foilboard

The Duotone Midfish 2026 is the board Duotone built around the Duotone Foil Assist system and it's designed to work across prone, downwind, wing and flatwater cruising. The whole shape is set up to get you riding with the least fuss. A mid-length outline that's narrow and low in rocker, so takeoffs come easily and the ride stays smooth and controlled giving a hyper-connected, lively feel the moment the foil engages.

Full carbon construction with PVC reinforcement through the standing area makes it strong and genuinely stiff and that stiffness is what you feel underfoot. Input goes straight to the foil with nothing lost, so it turns and carves precisely.

Performance & Feel

Two design choices define how it rides. The forward foil box position makes a mid-length board feel shorter and livelier than its size suggests, so you get quick, manoeuvrable foiling and a direct connection through your feet. The fishtail does two jobs at once: it adds stability and a real push through takeoff and it keeps the power cable and leash tucked in and out of the way while you foil, which on an assisted setup matters for both feel and safety. The wider tail also opens up offset foot placement, so you can set your stance where it works for you.

The narrow outline is the key to the responsiveness, keeping the board agile and quick to react through carves and transitions, while the low rocker and flatter planing surface hold the stability that makes takeoffs and touchdowns forgiving. On the 58L and 78L, front footstrap inserts take both straight and V-strap setups, so you can dial in a stance for freeride winging or wave riding. It's an intermediate-to-advanced board that gives back what you put in, sharp and connected when you're on it, stable enough not to punish you when you're not.
