The Bandit Brainchild sits at the top of F-One's kite range, the flagship expression of the Bandits all-round DNA. It's still built to do everything, twintip, strapless, foil and big air, but with a level of construction and refinement above the Bandit TEC.

The headline difference is PROWELD, Brainchild's welded leading edge construction. Instead of stitching the leading edge segments together, they're bonded, which increases torsional stiffness and cuts weight compared to conventional seams. Paired with Brainchild's ultra-light fabrics across the inflatable structure and canopy, the result is a kite that accelerates faster through the air, responds quicker to steering input and feels noticeably less sluggish in lighter winds too, without giving up any of the durability the Bandit's known for.

The new hybrid bridle system, with fixed front pigtails and a floating pulley on the tips, heightens the feel of the kites stiffness further and gives a more direct connection between bar and kite. Combined with the highest aspect ratio F-One's ever put on a Bandit, airflow across the canopy is more efficient and turning is quicker and smoother.

In the air that translates into a slightly heavier bar pressure when sheeting in and precise steering. In strong winds the Bandit Brainchild sits forward in the wind window.  Jumping benefits too, with a  stronger, faster lift and extra hangtime over the Bandit TEC plus friendlier, more controlled loops.

If you already know the Bandit TEC, the Brainchild is the same all-round DNA taken further: lighter, stiffer, and more reactive, for riders who want the top of the range. If you're new to the Bandit range, then this is the Bandit to have.
