Bamboo Deck Construction keeps weight out of the board by using bamboo only where it's needed, on the deck, rather than wrapping the whole shell in it. That slim build is also what makes the board's connection to the foil so direct, the feel goes straight through to your feet rather than getting lost in a bulkier shape.

The stepped kick at the tail helps the board release cleanly on take-off and shrugs off resistance when you're hitting the foam, useful when the turn gets more radical than a clean carve. A shallow, recessed deck lets you shift your front-to-back balance easily while keeping volume in the nose for stability. F-One rates this board highly on take-off, carving and pumping, with stability a notch below, which tracks with a shape built for speed and control over outright forgiveness. Twin-track mounting carries the usual 90mm spacing and gives you room to shift the foil fore and aft until the balance suits you.
