Performance & Feel

Ride it and you'd never guess it comes apart. The Trip V3 handles like a regular freeride twintip, with easy pop and soft, stable landings, and a livelier feel underfoot than you'd expect from a board built to travel. Credit goes to the Split-Connection 2.0: a replaceable PU S-connector, shaped to spread load evenly across the join rather than concentrating stress at a single point, backed by a multilayer fibreglass structure for extra torsional stiffness through the seam. Two locking pins hold it all rigid. A CNC-milled paulownia wood core runs the full length of the board, keeping the ride consistent from tip to tip.

The ergonomic outline carries that freeride character through into the shape, with a refined toeside edge for genuine control and a lively carving feel through turns and chop. Stepped channel tips add grip when you're powering through a turn or loading up for a jump, and a consistent rocker curve keeps pop and landings predictable.

Splitting it down and putting it back together takes seconds and no tools: line up the connector, lock the pins, and it's ready to ride. The SOLID fin set clicks on and off by hand just as easily, made from carbon-reinforced polyamide for a fin that's light but genuinely robust.
