The ION Amaze Core 4/3 Back Zip is an all-rounder in ION's women's wetsuit range, sitting above the Element and below the Amaze Amp, here in a 4/3 back zip for cooler water. New for 2026 the suit is made from neoprene-free natural rubber. Hot_Stuff 3.0 keeps you warm through the body while Silk_Stuff 2.0 keeps the chest, shoulders and arms smooth next to the skin. Built-in shin pads.

Performance & Feel

The Amaze Core sits in the middle of ION's women's range, above the Element and below the Amp, and the 4/3 back zip is the version for cooler water. For 2026 the big change is the move to neoprene-free natural rubber, which makes for a notably soft, supple suit. Hot_Stuff 3.0, ION's stretchiest and plushiest thermal lining, warms the body without stiffening the suit, and Silk_Stuff 2.0 keeps the chest, shoulders and arms stretchy and smooth to the skin.

The back zip makes it easy to climb into, and an internal neoprene panel seals off the zip to cut the cold water getting through the zip and rushing in down your back. Inside seams are glued and blind-stitched, flexibly taped at the knee and crotch areas with Maki_Tape 2.0 and the stress points reinforced. Water Defender Legs, a patent-pending feature, stop the leg cuffs folding up under water flush with inserts that drain water fast, and built-in shin pads protect your shins.
