The ION Arctic Mitten 5/4 Gloves are for when it gets properly cold and you're going out on the water anyway. A full closed mitten construction in 5mm neoprene keeps the wind and water at bay, while a pre-curved shape and thinner 4mm palm area mean you keep a good feel with your bar, paddle, boom or handles. Glued blind stitched seams with Tatex_Glue on and a Plasma_Plush 2.0 lining inside. Possibly the warmest glove in the ION range.

"The thinking behind these mittens is that keeping your fingers in contact with each other helps retain warmth. As a mitten there's also less surface area on the outside, which reduces heat loss. If you're okay with a mitten rather than a fingered glove, these may well be the warmest option in the ION range."
