This is the toughest construction in ION's youth range. GBS seams are doubled up rather than single-lined, giving a stronger seal and more resistance to the daily stretching and pulling that a well used suit goes through. Supra_Tex at the knees holds up against kneeling on boats, beaches, foreshores and pontoons, and the nylon webbing tape at the calf and shin protects the neoprene from the repeated stepping-in-and-out that wears a suit out fastest. The Water_Gate panel behind the back zip stops water flushing straight in once the suit's zipped up. None of it is designed to impress, it's designed to survive seasons of hard use, which is exactly what a school or rental suit needs to do.
