The ION Spectre Bar 2.0 is the updated version of ION's premium spreader bar, built on the same foundation as the original but with a couple of meaningful upgrades. The double-sided buckle system is the headline change: open and close the bar with either hand/from either side and remove it entirely without adjusting the webbing. That is very handy on the beach and a genuine convenience if you travel with your harness. The aluminium hook has been redesigned with a top-bend profile that sits deeper in the padded body, reducing leverage under load. Spectre flaps carry over from the original, keeping the bar locked against upward kite pull, and the carbon-infused base plate keeps the whole thing stiff and light. The Spectre 2.0 Spreader Bar is Modular as standard and the hook can be swapped out for a Dyneema webbing slider if you want a wave riding setup.
