The Mystic Endure Impact Vest/Harness is a wing harness and an impact vest in one, so you're not choosing between being protected and being hooked in. The hook sits high on the chest and stays out of the way when you're paddling. The spreader bar built into the vest spreads the pull across your ribcage so you're comfortable when powered up, and it's shaped with minimal overlap so you can still rotate through turns, transitions and pumping. EVA and NBR foam protect you on wipeouts and shoulder padding doubles up to make carrying the foil to and from the water more comfortable and waistbelt stops the whole thing riding up when if your wing lifts.
