The Star sits at the entry of Mystic's wetsuit range, but it's an honest value choice. The neoprene is MX2, Mystic's primary grade, with decent stretch and thermal rebound though. What you're getting for your money is a warm, well sealed 5/3 at a great price.

The double front zip is the part worth explaining. The zip across the chest opens at both ends with the zip undone giving a much wider entry than a single chest zip. Once it's done up, an Aquabarrier silicone seal across the collarbones stop water tracking in through the zip line.

Warmth comes from the Neoprene and the Fox Fleece lining.  Every seam is glued and blind-stitched with edge taping.  Hex-Tech kneepads in a 4-way stretch material take the wear from kneeling and non-slip cuffs close off the openings.

As a 5/3 it's a full winter suit, for the coldest part of the UK season.
