The North Sonar AF Foil Set is where most riders start building their North foil quiver. An aluminium mast platform ready for any Sonar front wing you choose to add to it.

Performance & Feel
The Sonar AF Foil Set is the starting point North for building a modular foil quiver, and it's built to grow with you. The refined aluminium mast profile balances light weight against genuine strength, so you're not choosing between durability and performance as you move between disciplines. GeoLock fixes the mast to the fuselage with a tapered geometry locking connection, so load transfers across the full cross-section of the mast profile rather than concentrating at a single point. The result is a direct, connected feel with minimum resistance through the water, and a connection built to last.
Two mast lengths cover different conditions. The AF72 suits shallower spots and prone surf foiling, where a shorter mast keeps you out of the way of the bottom. The AF85 gives you more ride height to clear waves and heel over into tighter turns, and it's the more forgiving choice in rougher water. Both use the aluminium AF Board Adaptor, engineered with strength where stresses concentrate with the same GeoLock connection for a direct feel between board and foil.
Everything in the set is built to work with anything else in North's Sonar range. Add any Sonar front wing to complete your setup, then expand from there: swap fuselages, stabilisers or mast as your riding develops without needing to replace what you've already got.... until you get woo'd by Carbon!
