Ozone Enduro V4 Kite
The Ozone Enduro V4 is a complete redesign of one of Ozone's most popular kites, taking the boosting power of earlier versions and the refined feel and putting it all together in one exceptionally well-rounded package. Freeride, wave, foil or freestyle, the Enduro V4 does it all, and does it with more lift, drive and speed than ever before.
- All-round freeride, freestyle and wave riding
- Continuous Curve Leading Edge and Transverse Sail Shaping
- Three-stage Variable Bridle Geometry: freeride, wave/foil and freestyle settings
- Narrower leading edge and struts for a faster, more responsive feel
- Beginner to advanced riders
Our Test Team Thoughts:
"This Enduro feels like it has grown up a bit. Kiteloops are noticeably better and more engaging, and the lighter feel in the sky makes a bigger difference than you’d expect, especially in lighter winds. It’s not a beginner kite by any stretch, but if you want a kite that pushes your kiting further, this is a seriously fun kite."
Performance & Feel
The headline change on the V4 is Continuous Curve Leading Edge construction: instead of straight leading edge segments joined at angles, each segment now curves to form one smooth arc from tip to tip. Transverse Sail Shaping matches that curve through the canopy, from leading edge to trailing edge, for a genuinely smooth, aerodynamic profile. Together, these two changes cut drag noticeably and pull the canopy tighter, and you can feel it the moment you fly it: the leading edge and struts have been made narrower, the canopy sits tauter, and the whole kite feels like a sharper, and well tuned.
That extra tension and reduced drag are apparent in how the kite moves through the wind window. Flying and turning speeds are faster, forward drive is stronger, with more lift so upwind comes easier. Bar feedback stays solid and direct through the compact pulley-less bridle system.
Variable Bridle Geometry carries over as the Enduro's signature trick, letting you switch between freeride, wave/foil and freestyle settings on the back line connections. Freeride gives the ideal all-round balance as the factory default. Wave/foil drops bar pressure and sharpens steering reactivity, so turning while depowered on a wave or a foil board becomes noticeably easier, and the kite flies with a lighter, more forgiving feel while still tracking upwind well. Freestyle firms things up, adding sheeting pressure, more power through kite loops and more pop for unhooked tricks. Kite loops themselves are a genuine highlight on the V4: the kite turns quickly and easily on its axis, then accelerates straight into the climb, giving you the confidence to commit rather than hesitate.
