Performance & Feel

The Enduro V5 Ultra-X sits at the top of Ozone’s all round range. It’s based on the same platform as the standard Enduro V5, but built with an Aluula airframe and tuned for riders who want more performance across the board.

It’s designed for intermediate to advanced riders who want one kite that can genuinely do everything, from freeride cruising through to big air, freestyle, and even a bit of wave riding. It doesn’t lock you into one style, which is exactly why so many people end up sticking with the Enduro V5 Ultra-X.

Compared to the standard version, this feels like the more dynamic option. Same versatility, just with a lot more intent behind it. The first thing you notice is how light it feels in the sky. It reacts quickly without feeling twitchy, and once you start looping it, the difference really comes through.

Loops feel more dynamic and carry power all the way through, but it still climbs back up nicely without feeling aggressive or out of control. There’s a smoothness to the power delivery that makes it easy to handle, even when you’re pushing a bit harder.

Bar pressure sits somewhere in the middle, maybe slightly on the higher side, which actually helps give you a better sense of where the kite is at all times. It feels connected without being heavy.

It’s not the fastest turning kite out there, but it’s quick enough, and more importantly it feels deliberate and controlled. You’re not fighting it, it just does what you ask.
