Performance & Feel

At the centre of the Flow V2 is Ozone's new carbon boom, built with injection-moulded components for a zero-play connection between you and the wing. It's lighter than the extended handle it replaces, since the boom's own structural rigidity let Ozone strip away extra reinforcement from the strut, and a textured EVA grip and integrated bumper add traction and protect your board without getting in the way of a natural pistol-grip hold.

Canopy construction blends two grades of Teijin ripstop: 5x5 across the majority of the sail for strength and minimal diagonal stretch, and 3x3 on the front panels to fine-tune flex and load distribution where the wing works hardest. Reinforced anti-flap batten pockets, four to six depending on size, and a stiffer leading edge handle cut trailing-edge flutter and add control when you're flagged out. Boom length and carbon grade scale with wing size, so the connection feels consistently stiff and direct whether you're on the smallest size or the largest.

The re-tuned canopy tension, tight at the front and softer through the trailing edge, gives the Flow V2 a positive lift profile that resists stalling through tacks and gybes, making it one of the easier wings in Ozone's range to progress on. Low-end power comes on earlier for easier pumping, widening the usable wind range across every size. Adaptive tips add another layer of tuning: 3.6m and under run thinner tips that let the wing fly efficiently in strong wind, while on the bigger wings from  4.3m and up, thicker tips stabilise airflow and smooth power delivery.
