Performance & Feel

The Flux V2 sits in Ozone's freeride line-up between the Flow and the Flux V2 Ultra-X. The switch to a stiffer Teijin Triple Ripstop Dacron airframe and an upgraded overall construction is what sets it apart from the V1, delivering noticeably more rigidity and control which adds smoother upwind run, cleaner gybes and tacks and more confident technical moves. The combination of canopy panels with overlap seams optimise load distribution through the canopy fabric which improves feel and reducing material stretch over time.  A Direct Connect Strut fixes the strut straight to the leading edge with internal and external reinforcements, keeping the canopy's profile clean and its tension exactly where Ozone designed it.

EVA-covered carbon handles and ergonomic grip bumps front and back. The longer front handle makes one-handed control easier, opening up more expressive carving and free-flowing movement, while a new, stiffer leading edge handle gives you real control when the wing is flagged out, complete with soft knuckle padding for comfort. Optimised canopy tension, held by anti-flap rigid battens and a taut trailing edge, keeps the wing composed at high speed and comfortable through overhead manoeuvres A larger, slightly repositioned window gives you a clearer view of who's around you on the water.

If you already know and love the V1, the V2 keeps that same signature feel, just smoother, stiffer and more refined for the next stage of progression. Seven sizes, 2.4m through to 6m, sit the Flux V2 firmly in intermediate to advanced territory, rewarding riders who already have their fundamentals in place and want a wing that rewards pushing harder.
