Performance & Feel

Liteforce keeps weight down without cutting corners on strength. The leading edge and strut use a performance Dacron that's 20% lighter than conventional Dacron, at 125g, rigid enough to let Ozone pre-load the leading edge so it holds its shape and resists deformation as the wind builds, rather than folding under load the way a standard lightwind wing might. Ozone builds every stitch and seam with a purpose rather than piling on reinforcement, cutting anything the wing doesn't need to still fly strong.

Despite their size, both sizes run a compact planform, so the tips stay further from the water through manoeuvres, cutting down on tip-strikes that big wings are prone to. Ergonomically angled, carbon handles with EVA grip sit front and back for control and feel.  Ozone have fitted what they call a knuckle guard on the leading edge de-power/surf handle for comfort. Lightweight anti-flutter fibreglass battens along the trailing edge improve airflow over the wing.

The result is a wing with genuinely powerful pumping and a direct sporty feel to catch what little wind there is.  As big wings take some technical handling and reward riders who already have their foiling fundamentals dialled in, this wing is for intermediate to advanced riders.  Two sizes, 6.6m and 7.7m,
