Performance & Feel

The Liteforce V2 keeps weight down starting from the leading edge and strut which uses a Performance Dacron that's 20% lighter than conventional Dacron but its rigid enough to let Ozone pre-load the leading edge so it holds its shape and resists deformation.  The canopy uses Teijin's TechnoForce 3x3 ripstop, balancing strength, responsiveness and weight for a direct, precise feel. Reduced canopy segments and more optimised shaping on the V2 help the wing hold its performance for longer too.

A big change from the V1 is the move to Ozones all new Carbon Boom.  It's a rigid, highly responsive connection that gives precise control under load, and along with the compact planform, gives the Liteforce V2 a direct feel that rides like a smaller wing than its size suggests.  A new, stiffer surf handle on the leading edge improves drift handling when you're riding flagged out.

The wing is genuinely powerful when pumping and has direct sporty feel to catch what little wind there may be.  As big wings take some technical handling and reward riders who already have their foiling fundamentals dialled in so the wing is designed for intermediate to advanced riders. Two sizes, 6.6m and 7.7m, cover the range: Ozone's own guidance is the 6.6m for riders under 90kg and the 7.7m for riders over 90kg.
