Ozone PowerPack Parawing

The Ozone PowerPack is built for one thing: getting up on foil, being stashed away away, allowing you ride in waves or downwind on nothing but the swell. Where the Pocket Rocket is great to learn on, the PowerPack is for once you already can. Its a smaller, lighter parawing that stashes down smaller and gives more performance to ride for those genuine stash-and-glide sessions.

  • Stash-and-glide parawing for experienced foilers
  • Lower rib count than the Pocket Rocket, lighter and smaller
  • Shorter bridle lines, faster stash and redeployment
  • Single-surface double rip-stop nylon canopy
  • Solid and smooth power to get up on foil quickly
  • Bow Handle
  • For advanced parawingers, the natural next step

Our Test Team Thoughts

"The Ozone PowerPack is for advanced foilers. If you have come to parawinging and learned to ride, jibe and tack and ride swell and bumps on a Pocket Rocket, then the PowerPack is the natural progression for you. Compared to the Pocket Rocket V2, the bridles are even shorter, it's more lightweight and packs down smaller and comes with the new Ozone carbon Bow Bar. Want to push your wave and downwind foiling without a wing? Then once you've mastered the craft, get the PowerPack."

Performance & Feel

Where the Pocket Rocket helped you build your first flying, jibing and tacking skills, the PowerPack picks up from there. A lower rib count than the Pocket Rocket makes the wing lighter and smaller by design, so the canopy stashes faster and with less precision handling required, and opens cleanly and quickly again when you redeploy. The large, parachute-style surface area still generates ample downwind power to lift you quickly onto foil, with extensive depower and decent upwind angles for efficient returns once you're up and riding.

The short bridle layout and centre front line riser make the wing easier to stash, keeping the lines within arm's reach and out of the way as you stash it while the low-aspect-ratio design works with those short bridles to keep the wing naturally positioned in the power zone. That translates to a solid, direct feeling of power that suits riders who can already pop up on foil. High-performance, durable, airtight double rip-stop material keeps things light, with a water-shedding coating that improves flying characteristics and relaunch, and new bridle line material allows your hands slide smoothly and comfortably.

The handle is the new Ozone Bow handle and the Powerpack does not have a central leader line which frees up your hand positioning.  The PowerPack runs a single 36cm sized handle across the size range. With even shorter bridles for faster stashing its made for advanced foilers who've already learned to fly, jibe and tack and want to push further into wave and downwind foiling without a wing. Six sizes, 1.9m through to 5.0m, cover the range.
