Ozone Torque V3 Kiteboard

The Ozone Torque V3 is made for riders who want a board that pops hard and holds an edge with real authority. The Torque is the and alround freeride board that also has its place as a freestyle and big air board too. With its aggressive outline and base channelling designed to load up and release with serious power.

  • Freeride, Freestyle, big air and unhooked riding
  • Hybrid biax fibreglass and unidirectional carbon construction
  • Quad concave base with refined spine channelling
  • Square tip outline for maximum pop
  • For Intermediate to advanced riders

Our Test Team Thoughts

"The first thing you notice is the grip. One of our team came off on their first transition because, he said..... the board felt so sticky underfoot, that's the fins and the base channelling working together. Once you adjust to it and dial in, it's an absolute blast to ride."

Performance & Feel

The Torque is Ozone's big Air/Freestyle-focused twin tip, built around a squarer tip outline and a longer, straighter rail edge. That extra surface area in the water is what gives the board its standout characteristic: serious edge hold. The quad concave base, combined with refined spine channelling running the length of the board, locks you in at speed and through hard carves, which is exactly what the test team found out the hard way on their first session.

That grip is also where the board's pop comes from. With more rail loaded against the water before release, the Torque rewards riders who push into their edge and commit, sending it back with real force on take-off. A 3D deck shape with a progressive taper into the tips keeps the flex predictable through that load and release, smoothing out the landing even when the take-off was aggressive. It's not a board that hides mistakes the way a softer freeride board might, but for riders working on freestyle or boosting bigger airs, that directness is the point.

Despite the aggressive outline, the construction keeps things light. The hybrid biax fibreglass and unidirectional carbon layup adds flex at the tips and response through the centre, so the board doesn't feel like dead weight in the air during board-offs and unhooked tricks. Grab indents in the deck make those grabs easier to find mid-trick.

Five sizes cover the range, and the board ships as deck, fins and grab handle, with pads and straps sold separately.
