Reedin Feather 2026 Foilboard

The Reedin Feather 2026 is built around a simple idea, get up on foil as early and as easily as possible, then have the board feel as small and lively as possible once you're foiling. It sits in the middle of Reedin's foilboard range, with a mid-length inspired shape that suits riders working on their takeoffs through to more experienced riders who want to size down and ride smaller, faster foils.

  • Wing foiling
  • Forward foil box position for a centred stance
  • Mid-length shape, minimal swing weight
  • EPS core, PVC sandwich, full carbon laminate
  • Reinforced foil hub around the foil boxes
  • Corduroy deck pad with kick tail and centreline indicator
  • Beginner to intermediate riders
  • Comes with a size matched boardbag

Performance & Feel

The Feather gets you up and riding with minimal effort, then should feel small underfoot once you're foiling. Because the foil boxes sit further forward than you might expect or be used to, your stance while waiting to take off is the same stance you'll ride in once you're up and foiling. This means that there's little or no shuffle or readjustment the moment the board lifts. That same forward positioning is what makes the board feel smaller than its length would suggest. Tthe amount of board behind your back foot roughly balances the amount in front of your front foot, cancelling out the leverage that normally makes longer boards feel heavy to turn. The result is a board that stays lively and easy to throw into a gybe or a tack, even at the longer end of its length.

That early, easy takeoff comes down to shape. A longer, narrower outline with parallel rails moves less water for the same amount of effort, a bow-stem nose opens water to the sides rather than pushing it ahead of you, and a tail shaped to close the water line cleanly cuts drag as you accelerate. Underneath, an EPS core wrapped in a PVC sandwich and full carbon laminate keeps the board light without giving up stiffness, and a reinforced foil hub around the foil boxes takes the repeated loading from the mast connection session after session. On deck, a corduroy pad gives you grip and comfort for the moments you're kneeling, with a kick tail so you can feel your position without looking down, and a centreline indicator strip marking your mid stance for consistent foot placement.

As a sizing guide, most riders should look for a board with around 5 to 15 litres more volume than their bodyweight in kilograms. More advanced riders can comfortably size down.  The efficiency of the shape of the board means you can also ride a smaller foil than you're used to at the same size board, without losing the easy takeoff.

Available in five sizes, 45 litres, 65 litres, 75 litres, 88 litres and 102 litres
