Reedin SuperNatural 2023 Wing

The Reedin SuperNatural 2023 is the wing that takes you from first flights through to properly powered foiling. It's steady and predictable while you're still working on your technique and it keeps giving once you start pushing upwind, riding bumps and getting off the water. A stiff frame and a tightly tensioned canopy mean it holds its shape under load rather than distorting, so what you feel in your hands is what the wing is actually doing.

  • All-round wing foiling wing
  • Triple layer leading edge construction
  • 100% vertical canopy seams
  • Rigid oval-section handles
  • Tuned dihedral on every size
  • Steady, direct feel in the hands
  • Beginner to intermediate riders

Our Test Team Thoughts

"A great way into the Reedin wing range is through the SuperNatural. This version flies on Reedin Carbon handles with the correct sized handles pre-installed when the wing arrives. A bonus with the Reedin range is that you get a Reedin wrist wing leash too. It's a friendly, easy-to-fly wing, great for learning on and for progressing into intermediate+ riding."

Performance & Feel

Sheet in and the SuperNatural delivers forward pull and lift which is what makes it easy to get going and easy to stay in control of once you're riding. Sheet out and there's very little flutter, so the wing sits quietly in your hand you while you find your balance. That steadiness comes from the airframe and canopy. Reedin's triple layer leading edge concentrates stiffness through the centre where the loads are highest, and the canopy seams run vertically from the front of the wing all the way to the trailing edge. This means that no seam is taking a shear load across it and the canopy stays tensioned, and the wing gives what you ask of it directly.

The oval section of the carbon handles gives a defined grip, so you can always feel where the wing is. Wide clear windows give a good view of whats ahead of you. Each size has its own dihedral shape which keeps the tips of the larger sizes clear of the water and stops them catching.

Key Features

  • Triple layer leading edge: stiffness concentrated through the centre of the leading edge
  • 100% vertical canopy seams: seams run from the front of the wing to the trailing edge, so no seam carries a shear load across it
  • Tensioned canopy: minimal flutter when sheeted out or riding free-fly
  • Rigid oval-section carbon handles: a defined grip feel
  • Wide clear windows: gives good visibility
  • Tuned dihedral per size: larger sizes keep their wingtips clear of the water and stay easy to handle
